Director of Sales (MENA)

For our Sales department, we are looking for a Director of Sales with an established record of sales leadership, operational brilliance, revenue generation as well as a deep interest and passion for online media, and innovation.

In this role, you will oversee our Ad Sales efforts for a set of media agency groups and direct clients. We want someone who loves our product, knows the ins and outs of the MENA ad market, clients, and agencies. What you’re looking for is the next big thing, a step in your career to join a rapidly growing tech company, a world leader among the localization networks and named “one the hottest startups in Berlin” (WIRED). You should be confident without being arrogant, and hardworking while still knowing how to have fun.

Your Profile:

  • You have 5+ years of digital advertising/marketing sales experience, and 2+ years of management
  • You are an experienced sales leader, consultative seller and have a proven track record of success in the MENA market
  • You have a deep understanding of the MENA region marketing and media landscape and expertise in account planning, strategic planning, and media buying within Direct & programmatic environments
  • You have experience running a team where Data/Insights drive the direction of the business
  • You are experienced in selling both display and programmatic ads
  • You have proven consolidated agency and brand direct relationships as well as solid references
  • You are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, energetic, and willing to thrive in a high growth organization

About your responsibilities

Office Management and Administration

  • You are in charge of running and managing our office in Berlin
  • You will be responsible for all administrative tasks to keep the office alive
  • Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software SevDesk and Datev and regularly reconciling accounts.
  • Distribute customer invoices and ensure that receivables are collected in a timely manner
  • Process company payroll and ensure proper and timely employees’ vacation and absences
  • Track, monitor and manage invoices
  • Maintain the company’s historical records by filing documents
  • You will create an amazing office environment

HR Management

  • You are coordinating HR administrative tasks
  • You take care of legal aspects and coordination

About you
